Get to Know QCCU

Founded in 2014, the Queen's Case Competition Union is a team of approximately 20 undergraduate Commerce students who train for and compete in international business case competitions. Our team predominantly competes in strategy case competitions where four unique team members from QCCU take part.

The competitions we attend are hosted by different universities worldwide, giving our team the incredible opportunity to travel and represent the Smith School of Business globally. In the past few years, we have represented Queen's at competitions in Singapore, New Zealand, Thailand, Serbia, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, and more.

Competitors undergo intensive spring, summer, and fall training programs to develop strategic thinking, financial analysis, public speaking, and communication skills necessary to succeed in case competition settings. We select exceptionally talented individuals to be a part of our team.

Team Hiring

January 2022

We are excited to invite undergraduate commerce students at Queen's to apply to our team in January of 2024. Look out for our hiring info-session on the QCCU Facebook or QCCU Instagram pages, or on ComSoc Shop.

The recruiting process involves two rounds of interviews. The first round consists of behavioural questions as well as a debate prompt. Successful applicants are invited to a final round interview involving a 24-hour case and presentation.

Queen's has many amazing opportunities to get involved with case competitions. We strongly encourage you to participate in QCC, Q3C, and I.C.B.C.

We may identify exceptional candidates at these events and invite you to interview with us during our team hiring process in January.
